HEATHER WRIGHT – YOGA INSTRUCTOR
I qualified as a Yoga Instructor in 2011. I trained with Marie Quail who was the founder of the YTTC. The journey has been quite amazing for me. I was hit by a car just after I qualified and had to spend sometime in a wheelchair and crutches after suffering a Lisfranc injury in my foot. Thankfully I recovered and started to teach. I opened my studio Yoga Kula in Coleraine and four years later the studio was thriving with wonderful students and classes. Unfortunately again I was hit by a serious illness – Bowel Cancer. I had to close the studio and underwent a tough period in my life.
😊 I’m now back doing what I love 2 years later.
I now offer a varied choice of classes and locations to try and offer yoga to everyone.
My belief is that yoga is for everyone
I have come to understand that Yoga is a way of life. life is not always what you want it to be but Yoga gives you the grace to at least try.
