This nurturing healing technique enables you to incorporate hot and cold stones into your Reflexology sessions by using various sized stones to massage the legs and feet and safely work many reflex points. If your clients love the heat then this treatment can achieve a deep state of relaxation & well-being as well as many more benefits. The Stones are very grounding and a wonderful tool to have in your practice. Tired, sore & aching feet are relaxed & tensions held at the deepest level are released. During the course we will cover :

Origins of Stone Massage
Management of the Stones – Hot and Cold.
Caring for the energy of the stones
Stone Kit Recommendation
Managing the therapists energy and grounding techniques
Equipment and Temperature – Safe Practice
New Techniques – Integrating stones into your routine
Integrating Stone Reflexology into your practice & Marketing
Pre-requisites : This course is suitable for qualified reflexologists who wish to enhance their current treatments.

 

Stone Facial Training

Saturday 3rd August

This is a wonderfully nurturing treatment using a combination of basalt stones and crystals with massage techniques to destress and rejuvenate the skin of the face and neck.

Aim of the Treatment:

Stone Placement (Relaxation) on the body
Cleanse the skin
Massage of the Face, Neck, Head and Scalp tailored for each client
Face Mask to hydrate and Moisturise the skin of the Face & Neck

The Stones are very grounding and a wonderful tool to have in your practice. Tired, sore & aching muscles are relaxed & tensions held at the deepest level are released. Circulation to the skin is increased, bringing about a nice healthy glow. During the course we will cover :

Origins of Stone Massage
Management of the Stones – Hot and Cold.
Caring for the energy of the stones
Stone Kit Recommendation
Managing the therapist’s energy and grounding techniques
Equipment and Temperature – Safe Practice
Techniques to cleanse the skin
Contraindications
Face Massage Techniques with Hot Stones (and some cold)
Integrating Stone Facial into your practice & Marketing

Pre-requisites: This course is suitable for qualified reflexologists, massage therapists, beauty therapists and aromatherapists who wish to enhance their current treatments.

On the day, You will each get an opportunity to both give and receive a Stone Facial. We start at 10am and finish by 6pm.
