Performing a Body Massage treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing and enjoyable treatment designed to encourage a feeling of well being.
This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional full body massage and includes a practical training session and assessment.
This GTi Body Massage course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy and physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, preparing for treatment, massage techniques and a full body massage routine.
The GTi Body Massage course includes the GTi Professional Standards course, usually priced at £49 + VAT, for all students who have not completed this course.
The GTi Body Massage Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video clips and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. Twenty-one of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.
You will also be assessed at a one-day assessment at my training centre. You will have the opportunity to practice the routine on friends and family before being assessed by an experienced tutor at a time to suit you. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi Body Massage certificate which is acceptable for insurance purposes with The Guild of Beauty Therapists.
Course feesPayment plan option will include an additional £50 admin fee (£449 total) £179 deposit up front and then the remaining cost will be paid at your practical session.
**Once you pay the deposit you are committing to pay the full cost of the course, even if you do not complete it.**
There is also a one-off payment to the Guild of £25 for student membership which will be payable directly to them after you are registered.
Once you have made payment, you will receive a training agreement form., which should be completed, signed and returned to me. Then text me to 07500334432 with your email address , name as you would like it to appear on your certificate upon successful completion of the course, date of course and venue.
A salon uniform will be required for your practical training day/days.
